My heart grows deeper in love each day as I live and experience life with the most amazing husband ever. My body also keeps growing larger and larger each day. My back is tied up in so many knots Paul is unsure where to begin. But the baby and I are healthy and doing well. Going on week 33. Here are some of our favorite names this week, subject to change...
Gabriella (Ella) Candace Jones
Ella Claire (?) Jones We could call her E-Claire for fun :) We liked Clara, named after Paul's grandmother, as a middle name but with Ella we couldn't have two "a" ending names.
Genevieve Deanna Jones Deanna is my middle name.
Madeline
Eliza Kate Jones
Still a work in progress...
Kiss Paul Lots Day was postponed due to Paul having a sore throat / cold for the last few days. We just postponed the "Kiss" part (ewww.... ) but had an incredible date last night. We went up to Layton's Castle and participated in a Murder-Mystery dinner with Candace's Mom and Dad. It was hilarious and we can't wait to share the incriminating evidence that we got of Paul. The "lounge-singer actress" took quite a liking to Paul and even had him be part of the show. We got a funny picture of her strutting her stuff around Paul and then Candace intervening with her big Buddha belly. Our table with other dinner show goers was quite a riot. We were nearing 8pm and still our table hadn't been called up to go to the dinner buffet table. One girl at our table called over some of the characters and pointed out "Hey, we have a pregnant lady here, she needs some food." Promptly the lady in charge had our table go next. I was a bit embarrassed, but hey, it was nice to get our food!
Other things this week...
Candace decided to shovel lots of snow on Tuesday and was hurting, sore, and half-dead on Wednesday.
We checked out some educational games at the PERC (Parent Educational Resource Library) that the kids have loved. One is called Block Buddies and it is a similar version to the tanagram game that Mom and Dad have. It color codes the blocks so the children can make the pattern. The boys have LOVED it. They are constantly creating patterns and showing them off. They take some time as they have about 21 blocks to arrange. Annmarie enjoys the file folder game/match up of what animals eat. Then we make the animal noises and point to which animal makes it.
Christian officially graduated from Talking Time. It has been interesting each time I meet with the specialists and they finally revealed an option that I have been trying to communicate is what he needs now. His goals have been changed from sound articulation to more language vocabulary articulation. This takes the level up a step to working on articulating full sentences rather than just a specific sound. This moves him to the school's speech therapist and he only goes for a half hour now.
Annmarie went to the dentist for the first time this week. She was so excited that she decided to color a picture for the dentist. Her appointment was at 9am so she started first thing after breakfast. The dentist was dumbfounded that a three year old would be so excited to visit the dentist. He told her he was going to hang it up in his office. She enjoyed her visit and has sparklie clean teeth.
Friday the two older children enjoyed Valentine class parties. I signed up for the game for Cannon's class. We made a Cupid Training Academy target shooter (cardboard box with a big shiny foil heart target hole to shoot at. Paul and the kids cut up PVC pipe so each child had a Cupid Shooter that they decorated with stickers. Then (a great idea from Stephen/Claire) we had mini pompoms for them to target shoot with. It was a hit! Get it... hit?!
Love,
Candace and Clan
