Half Year Smiles and Sparkles...

She's there! Genevieve was officially six months old this week. My has time flown by! I try not to think that my baby is no longer a newborn and it helps that there is so much fun world to still introduce her to. We celebrated by giving her sweet potatoes for the first time. Fun, eh! Other things that are exciting for her discovering mind has been her toes. She loves to pull her foot to her mouth and gnaw on them, sometimes sock and all. She is also trying to be a thumb sucker! We try to pull it out most of the time, but it is hard when it is so cute! Here is the picture of our big six month old, with her fuzzy do...

Other news...
Fall soccer is officially over. I am glad it is over because it is getting cold, but sad because the children were doing awesome! They each have made so much improvement this year. Bianca was nicknamed "Dash" at school because of her newfound speedy skills. Cannon is so fun to watch as he zips around the big guys and shoots goals from afar and sometimes even does the cool head shots (there is probably some technical name for it). Christian was the star of his team. I am so proud of each of them!

Also, as a side note if you ever were to translate "Oo-kie-Goo-kie" let me tell you what it is... It is actually "Origami." Cannon checked out an Origami book from the library and Christian kept wanting to do Ookiegookie with me. I had no clue! Finally he brought me the book and I told him what the name really was. He is trying to read everything and it is so cute!

Love,
Can
