I just thought I would share a book that Annmarie fell in love with before Christmas. This was the main thing she really wanted for Christmas. The main character is Pete the Cat and his first debut is I Love My White Shoes. What is so engaging about this book is there is a cd that tells the story and sings a silly song. It is very catchy and repetitive so the kids love it. I love it too. However, I didn't necessary like the illustrative style at first, but as Pete has become a fun favorite at our house the illustrative style is Pete. I came across some videos of Pete the Cat and they directed me to Harper Collins Children website where you can get a free download of it as well. I thought I would share!
