Paul's week recap...

No rain here, but lots of snow! A friend and I went out snow shoeing during lunch last week. We hiked up the mountain right by our house for about a mile and a half. Then ran down the mountain. It turns out to be pretty hard to run in snow shoes, but you do travel fast when coming straight down a mountain!

The kids are loving the snow. They play outside for a few hours everyday and come in cold, tired and wet. They are loving it.

The tip of Cannon's dead tooth broke off a few weeks ago so we took him into the dentist to get the rest of the tooth extracted. The dentist was great and told Cannon how he was the only kid who didn't cry at all when he had his tooth pulled. Cannon was very proud. What a tough guy! The tooth fairy almost forgot to come but luckily Cannon slept in that morning allowing the tooth fairy a late delivery!

I made cookies last night. I made the Tovey oatmeal peanut-butter chocolate chip cookie bar recipe—except that I forgot to put in the oatmeal. So what I really made was caramelized brown sugar. So, I made cookies today.

Bianca and I both gave talks in church today. I spoke about finding strength in the scriptures. I said you find strength in the scriptures because you find Christ in the scriptures and He gives you strength. Bianca gave her talk in primary about how everyone was a spirit child of God.

We did a good house cleaning Saturday morning. Candace said this is the last time she will clean toilets until the baby comes. Something about bending around the toilet that doesn't work while carrying a basketball in your belly. I spent Saturday afternoon in the Temple with to youth helping with baptisms for the dead. It was wonderful to be there. Croatian names are hard to pronounce.

Love,
Paul
