"When you fall off the horse, you have to get back on"

So yesterday Christian had a little bicycling accident. If I took in Cannon's panic level when arriving back home to fetch mom it was quite the fall. "Mom, there's blood everywhere and I think he is going to need stitches." Granted I bet there was a fair amount of blood. The poor boy
suffered scrapes on both knees, one elbow, and a bloody lip. He thought he got both elbows, but one had old wounds. :) Can you tell our kids are having fun this summer? All and all the children did what they have been taught... Bianca stayed with the injured and Cannon rode home to get help. Bianca, in the meantime, provided great entertainment to the afflicted by distracting his mind with a toy in her backpack. She used her water bottle to wash off the wounds. Upon arriving at the scene to help Christian back home I found a calm, scraped up little boy. We returned home, bandaged the scrapes, and he took a nice nap.

This morning before prayer we were asking Christian how he felt. We asked if he could feel his fat lip. He asked "Is it fat?" We told him it was swollen. Then he asked "Is it fatter than Daddy's?" Well... :)

Knees don't look right without a scar or two from a bike accident.
