Birthday, Belly and Blessings...

On this momentous day, where I turn palindrome digits, I cannot help but express how blessed I feel! First of all I am grateful to know that I am a loved daughter of God, who has been blessed with wonderful parents who have sacrificed much to help mold me into the person I am today. I have the most incredible husband, who is patient and kind, always complimenting me and uplifting me, and who I mostly have to thank for the precious joy I feel each day. I have been blessed with 4 1/2 children (woo-hoo, I'm half way there) who laugh, help each other and me, their smiles and laughter, and love all who are near them. I am grateful for extended family members who truly bring color and variety to our beautiful bouquet of loving family relationships. I am grateful for friends who love me and my family and the great times we have when we get together. Many of those friends have been like family to us as we have many experiences throughout the years!

As most of you know today is the BIG day. Well, one of those BIG days! We have been blessed with the knowledge that whatever this little guy or gal inside me reveals to the ultrasound picture that we know this important truth:

"All human beings—male and female—are created in the image of God. Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents, and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny. Gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose.

In the premortal realm, spirit sons and daughters knew and worshipped God as their Eternal Father and accepted His plan by which His children could obtain a physical body and gain earthly experience to progress toward perfection and ultimately realize their divine destiny as heirs of eternal life."
A Family: A Proclamation to the World

But the BIG event wouldn't be complete without a picture of the belly getting BIGGER. So, for those of you that have asked be prepared...

Here's to the Birthday surprises that await, what the Belly will tell, and the Blessing of knowing YOU and that each of you have had a beautiful impact in my life!

The announcement will be posted on my blog at fridaysparkles.blogspot.com later today. Only a few more hours to vote if you haven't already!

Love,
Candace

Girl, boy, boy, girl....here comes another girl. That will make it so only the oldest has no ideal playmate, but at least she will be the only one.
