Last week's report

Sorry, I forgot to forward this to you all. Paul wrote the recap last week and this is what went on... I didn't want it to surprise anyone when they came to visit... read on...

Sunday, March 15th, 9:59pm

Claire recently taught Bianca how to make hair clips with fake flowers and hair clips and Bianca wanted to do make some more. So, Candace took Bianca out to do some shopping. She said as she left, if you want, Christian needs his hair cut.... I pulled out the clippers and the boys both said, "Are you going to shave our heads?!?" They have been waiting for months to have their heads shaved. (Candace just had a contraction.) Christian got a hair cut. Cannon couldn't be left out of the fun so he got one too. I didn't know Cannon just got a hair cut two days before. Well, needless to say, Candace was a little shocked at seeing her two bald boys when she got home. But she took it very well. The boys have been loving it. They keep pretending that they are the other one hoping that we can't tell them apart. Cutting all their hair off has made them quite silly.

Soccer season is starting up again next week. I have been trying to get Christian's team organized. We will have our first (and only) practice this Saturday and then 8 regular season games. I have been scouting out the other teams and the competition looks pretty tough, but I think we have a great shot at the championship even though there is no score keeping at the games.

Bianca has been learning about the rain forest at school the last few weeks. She had an assignment to write a short paper about the tree frog and bring in a tree frog creation. She really like the second part of the assignment. She and I watched a video youtube teaching us how to make an origami frog. Then we folded a few small practice frogs and a large frog for school. She then painted the frog green, orange, and glued on red eyes.

Stephen stole Ed's Pants.

I finally found the recipe I have been dreaming about for the last week or so. (Candace just had another contraction.) I called a few people and poorly described what I was looking for and made the wrong thing, but then finally found what I wanted....in the Jones cookbook. It was there all along. I wanted dream bars. Now I have to finish off the other things before I can make them. I guess I will suffer through two batches of cookies since I didn't get it right the first time.
